EBPI Synthetic toxicity testing kit can be conducted within a 45 minute laboratory period.  The kit is designed to teach students key concepts including serial dilutions, using a transfer pipette and experimental design and observation. The synthetic Toxi-Lab test kit conveniently simulates chemical toxicity to bacteria. It was designed by EBPI to be easy to use and provide clear results. It simulates toxicity testing in the context of a real world scenario with unique environmental samples while introducing and/or reinforcing the concepts of toxicity.
